Vents KG 800x500 gravity ventilation valve is used in supply or exhaust ventilation systems to shut off the ventilation duct when the equipment is not working. When the fan is turned on, the valve plates are opened by a flow of air; when the equipment is turned off, the valve plates lower under their own weight and block the channel.
The valve body is made of galvanized sheet. The valve is equipped with lightweight plastic gravity plates located on rotary axes built into the outer frame.
Installation
The valve is designed for installation in rectangular ducts of ventilation systems with the long side in a horizontal position. The plates must close independently under their own weight. When placing a valve in a ventilation system, the direction of air flow must be taken into account.
