Vents VUT 350 G is an air handling unit with heat recovery without the use of a heater. Used for ventilation of residential and commercial premises where it is impossible to use installations with electric or water heaters. The maximum consumption of the installation is only260 Wper hour.

The nominal capacity of this model is350 m3/h; in the cold season, the unit’s performance is lower, since to ensure the required supply air temperature in this unit, the supply fan is periodically turned off. This process is described in more detail below in the Recuperator section.

The unit is installed indoors with a positive temperature, the diameter of the air duct connection is 125 mm.

Casing

The unit casing is made of aluminum profile and sandwich panels with internal heat and sound insulation made of 20 mm thick mineral wool.

Filter

To filter supply and exhaust air, the unit has two built-in filters with a cleaning degree of G4 (exhaust) and F7 (supply).

Fans

The Vents VUT 350 G unit is equipped with supply and exhaust double-suction centrifugal fans with forward-curved blades and a built-in protection thermostat with automatic restart. Electric motors and impellers are dynamically balanced in two planes. Rolling ball bearings of electric motors do not require maintenance; their service life is at least 40,000 hours.

Recuperator

The cross-current recuperator is made of aluminum plates. For operation of the unit without recuperation, a “summer” liner is provided. Under the recuperator block there is a tray for collecting and discharging condensate. The supply and exhaust unit is equipped with a built-in system for protecting the recuperator from freezing during the cold season. Its essence is that the temperature sensor turns off the supply fan and the warm exhaust air warms up the recuperator. Then the supply fan turns on and the entire installation operates as usual.

Control

The fan rotation speed is controlled using a four-position switch, which allows you to select minimum, average or maximum speed or turn off the unit.

Installation of the VUT installation

The air handling unit is mounted on the floor, suspended from the ceiling using a mounting corner with vibration insert or mounted on the wall using brackets. The installation can be placed both in auxiliary rooms and in the main ones (behind a suspended ceiling, in a niche or in an open way). It can only be installed in such a position as to ensure collection and drainage of condensate. Access for service and filter cleaning is from the side panels.
